Nice pool Kimmer......... When are you having a NASCARDIAC swim party ??  Grin

Bummer Wash...... Sorry to hear hubby is in a cast...

We had some rain for a few days here... But it brought in the high humidity, and that is a Jersey tradition for summer suffering....  Grin

When I was in Illinois for the NASCAR weekend at Chicagoland, I was reminded how great it is to live in SoCal. Even though it was in the 90s in SoCal, the humidity was like 40% - not the 85% to 90% like in Chicago - with 90+ degree temps.

And the mosquitoes...DAMN!! I effen hate mosquitoes!!

IDK what the heat was outside, I have been busy moving. No A/C in the House I'm moving into. I was not happy at all. A/C ppl are suppose to be there tomorrow to fix the problem. Not a good way to start out.

I would like to spend some time in Jersey. I never have. But I am quite happy with the way things are in SoCal - weather-wise, anyway. I'm about 12 miles from the coast and we have had magnificent weather over the past couple of weeks.

But, just like I say every January First - when most of the country is up to their armpits in snow and girls in bikinis are riding on Rose Parade Floats in Pasadena - remember, there are earthquakes in Cali every day. Just today, for example, a 3.6 was detected in Central California...  Cheesy

The girls in bikinis in January just might make me have to visit SoCal.. We have brutal winters here in Jersey.....

You are right Robby, I was in San Diego back in 2002, when Sooners Played in the Rose Bowl. We went to California Adventure & Disney Land, got to meet the Sooners and Coaches. The Parks had to close down that day because they were so packed. Managers said it was the first time in history that they had to close due to Too many Ppl in the Parks. You couldnt ride the rides the lines were so long. When we complained to the Park Manager about it, They gave us a refund and let us stay in the Park. Yes, we went to both parks for free. As soon as the sun went down the Parks cleared out, we were able to ride as many rides as we wanted, No Lines. California Screamin is the best Roller Coaster I've ever been on.

We haven't gotten a break from this hot spell in a while now...... Were still in the high 90's and kinda humid... Not as bad as we can get here in Jersey, but it's not great either...

But I will say this...I'll take this over January and February any day...  Grin

OSL... That ain't normal is it ?
