I'm not a fan of the chase either.

While he was sitting there, he removed his steering wheel. That was the big safety problem.

I watch all three when I can. But like arDEIfan, anything with wheels beats most T.V. today.

I agree. Let's see the top 43 at that track on that weekend.

You get in an arguement with your wife and she gives you Tony Stewarts anger management counslers phone number.

You visit the drivers hall of fame at Talledega and the sign by Richard Pettys car say "Do Not Touch" and you have to touch it anyway.

Your standing at the Speed Stage in Texas around several thousand people holding a sign and thinking " These are my people"

Sounds somewhat bias on the winner there. Remember, this track doesn't have the banking Texas did to hold him on the track, Smack!!! Oh!!! there is a wall there. Lets look at those who we know go fast on the flatter tracks. Cousin Carl, Stewart, Kurt Bush to name a few.

I guess you've got it bad, nascar mania that is. Anytime something can drive you nuts, you've got it bad. Think of how many times you have been surfing the idiot box and stopped to watch the intense competition of 2 tennis players swinging at it, running back and forth, grunting with each stroke...and a stupid line judge screams OUT!!! when everybody and there dog could see that it was in.
And...Click the surfing continues.

Denny Hamlin #11 has to be the driver I favor the most, but since I am an avid M&M candy memoribila collector, David Gilliland also ranks up there.

Sounds like it's going to be a great time.

NASCAR Talk! / Re: What is your favorite NASCAR commercial?
« on: April 20, 2007, 09:01:21 PM »
I have got to say Ken Schrader in his Little Debbie commercial from last year was the best I've seen in a while. Close second was the jet engines on the U.P.S truck.
There is so many others I could mention, but I would rather hear from ya'll. What do you think?

CodeBlueEMT's post defines racing as a sport in my opinion. I could not imagine the workout these guys (and Erin Crocker) go through to keep up there endurance for just one race, not to mention a whole season. Let's face it, I get tired just watching with all the whooping and hollering I do. Of course I never cuss at the T.V., Signspotter19 takes care of that for me.

That's great! Let's grow the sport where we are wanted, not Washington State I hear.

I like both PettyBlue's idea and CodeBlueEMT's idea
