NASCAR Talk! / Fantasy Nascar 2018?
« on: February 10, 2018, 12:39:08 PM »
Yahoo ended Fantasy Nascar along with a couple other sports. Is there a plan to use another website this season, or is it a no go?

I may have a little time to set something up at Fox or a different website if there's any interest.

NASCAR Talk! / Kasey Kahne: Driver or Ownership?
« on: August 24, 2007, 11:17:34 PM »
I've watched Nascar off an on for the last couple years, but I've been a die-hard fan this season.  I've really started enjoying it on a weekly basis, and I haven't missed a Nextel Cup race all year.  However, I'm still a new Nascar fan, and Kasey Kahne's 2007 performance has been mind boggling to me.  I'm a huge fan of Kahne, and it's obvious something isn't right.  He qualifies in the top 10 quite a bit, but he quickly falls out of that top 10 once the race starts.

My question is this:  Is Kasey Kahne not as good as a lot of people think, or is there something going on with the Everingham team?  I've noticed Sadler and Riggs haven't done very well either, but it's still pretty confusing to me.  How can someone win 6 times one year and hardly crack the top 10 the next?!?

So I'm asking the Nacardiac Nation: What in the world is going on with the #9 team?

On a sidenote, Kahne is on the pole this weekend at Bristol, so hopefully things turn around.  Unfortunately, I believe he will end up in the bottom half once again.  :-\

NASCAR Talk! / Samsung 500 Discussion
« on: April 15, 2007, 01:00:56 PM »
I didn't see an official Samsung 500 Discussion thread, so I figured I'd create one.  Who do you all think will win today?  Also, who will surprise, disappoint, etc.?

I'm a big Kasey Kahne fan, and this might have been his breakout race of the year if the rain hadn't postponed qualifying.  Now he gets to start on the 17th row and will be behind the 8-ball early and often.  I'm looking for Dale Jr. to win today.  He has a solid record on the track, and his team has been improving every week in recent weeks.

I'm definitely ready for the race though.  What does everyone else think?
